Forest Festival

  • Barton Flats 34701 Mill Creek Road Mentone, CA, 92359 United States (map)

Do you have a passion for the environment and want to make a difference in our local streams? The Fisheries Resource Volunteer Corps (FRVC) is looking for 3 enthusiastic volunteers to help man our booth at the Forest Festival in Barton Flats.

At our booth, we will be hosting an exciting entomology display of live bugs found in our very own local streams. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to see these fascinating creatures up close while we educate them about the importance of clean water and the significance of keeping our streams free from trash.

The Forest Festival promises to be a fun-filled event with numerous volunteer groups, Forest Service Units, live music, delicious food, and even a visit from Smokey Bear!

By volunteering with us, you'll have a chance to be part of this exciting event while contributing to our mission of preserving and protecting our precious water resources. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and engage with the community.

Sign up now to be part of the FRVC booth team at the Forest Festival on August 19th. Help us spread awareness and appreciation for our local streams and the wildlife that calls them home. We can't wait to see you there!
