Get ready to embark on an exciting journey with the Fisheries Resource Volunteer Corps (FRVC) at our upcoming New Volunteer Patrol Training on September 9th! This event is designed to welcome both new prospective volunteers and current volunteers looking to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Meet at the San Gabriel Gateway Center at 8am. During this volunteer training patrol, you'll get a first-hand introduction to the world of fish monitoring, water quality testing, and habitat restoration. FRVC volunteer Tom Walsh will be your guide. He’ll equip you with everything you need to know about patrol procedures and introduce you to the diverse ways you can actively contribute.

Remember to bring a sack lunch to keep you energized throughout the training.
