Community Clean-up Collaborations

The FRVC has a long-standing tradition of collaborating with community organizations on conservation and cleanup projects. In the past, we have worked with groups like Trash Free Earth and the Boy Scouts to clean up and maintain various sites in the Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests. We have also conducted electrofishing and invasive species removal, regular stream patrols, and big horn sheep surveys.

One of our most successful programs is Trout in the Classroom, which has included thousands of public school students in both Riverside and LA County. Students are taken into the forest to learn about the life cycle of trout and the importance of conservation. Our programs aim to not only educate but inspire future generations to become stewards of the environment.

If you are a community organization interested in collaborating with us on a conservation or cleanup project, we would love to hear from you. Contact us to learn more about how we can work together to make a positive impact in our community.
